CheckFirst.ca is a great resource to guide you on your investment journey, but if you are looking for some face-to-face support we are proud to offer classes and attend events around Alberta.

Investing 101 classes

Whether you’re just starting out with investing or looking to hone your skills, it’s never too late to learn. The ASC offers an in-class Investing 101 course with Chinook Learning Services in Calgary and Metro Continuing Education in Edmonton.

Investing 101 is a plain-language course designed to enhance your financial literacy including developing a foundational overview of the stock market, investing, compound interest, and risk and return. You’ll also learn the basics on how to make well-informed investing decisions and how to spot and avoid investment fraud.
